If not, this installation guide video will show you just how quick and easy it is to set up, because HerdTrack was developed by farmers, for farmers.

Here’s a cheat sheet to give you a quick guide through the installation steps
Step 1:
Install the scanner mount bracket
Secure the mount bracket to the back of the scanner using the provided screws and spanner.
Step 2:
Attach the mount bracket to the solar panel
Fix the 50mm mount bracket to the back of the solar panel and tighten the screws securely.
Step 3:
Connect the antenna
Screw the antenna gently onto the scanner’s antenna port without over-tightening.
Step 4:
Mount the scanner
Attach the scanner to the upright pole, ensuring it faces the direction of animal movement.
Step 5:
Mount the solar panel
Secure the solar panel to the 50mm upright pole, facing north for maximum sunlight.
Step 6:
Connect the solar panel to the scanner
Plug the solar panel cable into the scanner’s power port and ensure a firm connection.
Step 7:
Run diagnostics
Switch on the scanner, test signal strength with diagnostic tags, and check battery and solar performance.
